- Which filter should I pick?
- Document for forms and worksheets (auto-flattens soft desk shadows), Whiteboard for marker boards, Grayscale for simple printouts, Enhance when you want to keep more color.
- Why do I see black patches or shadows?
- Uneven lighting can leave soft shadows or wash out thin ink. Document and Whiteboard flatten shadows mainly in darker regions and use a softer white clip so bright areas keep light strokes. If text still looks incomplete, try Enhance or re-shoot without glare.
- Why does the result look stretched?
- Usually one corner sits on the desk instead of the paper edge. Reset corners and place them carefully, then straighten again.
- Can I make a multi-page PDF from several photos?
- Straighten each page, download JPGs, then use JPG to PDF to combine them in order.
How to straighten a skewed form photo
Phone photos of paper forms are often trapezoid-shaped: the top of the page is narrower than the bottom, or one corner is farther away. Scan & straighten warps that quadrilateral into a flat rectangle, then applies a document filter so text is easier to read.
Steps
- Photograph the whole page with as even lighting as you can (avoid heavy shadows on one side).
- Upload the JPG/PNG/WebP and drag the four numbered corners onto the page corners.
- Choose Document for forms, Whiteboard for marker boards, or Enhance to keep color.
- Tap Straighten & enhance, check the result, then download JPG or PDF.
