Get files ready to send or upload — shrink size, combine packets, split page groups, fix page order, or rotate sideways scans.
Compress vs split
Compress when the whole document must stay together but email or a portal rejects the size. Split when only some pages are required — extracting a certificate is usually smaller than squeezing a 40-page scan.
If the file barely shrinks, it is probably already text-heavy or optimized. Try split or JPG export for the pages that matter.
Merge, reorder, and rotate
Merge builds one packet from cover letters, forms, and certificates. Reorder fixes phone scans that landed out of sequence. Rotate fixes pages that are sideways or upside-down. Fix orientation and order on sources before you merge so you do not bake mistakes into a deadline file.
